He was born on October 5th, 1987 in Los Angeles, California, United States under the name Dillon Hart Francis. He has an American father and his mother is part Croatian part Serbian from Europe.

Career development
Francis was noticed for the first time by a known American producer called Diplo. He was the owner of Mad Decent record label.
After some time the two of them started their collaboration and have made a song called „Que Que“ together with Maluca, a known Latin-pop artist.
He got popular when his single called „Masta Blasta“ was edited because he was inspired by a Dutch artist Munchi and the single ended as the moombahton track.
Francis released his first EP called “Swashblucker” in 2010 on Play Me Records. He released two more singles in 2012, called „Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up)“ and „I.D.G.A.F.O.S.“
Francis also released his work on many other labels like Mad Decent, Dim Mak Records and OWSLA.
Francis was the first moombahton artist to ever get on the number-one place on the Beatport releases chart. He did it with his extended play titled “Something, Something, Awesome”.
He went on his Wet & Reckless tour all around North America in 2012.
He also supported the English electronic-music trio called Nero on their tour called the Welcome Reality tour and a musician Flux Pavilion on the Standing on a Hill tour.

He said that the show will go into production in January 2015. Dillon announced his EP This Mixtape is Fire in June, 2015.
This EP has collaborations with Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Kygo, Bro Safari and Chromeo. There’s also a remix of a song „I Can’t Take It“ from his previous album Money Sucks, Friends Rule. Party Favor made the remix of this single.
The same day he released the first single from the EP called „Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin’)“.
In 2015, he gained a role in the movie titled “We Are Your Friends”, together with Zac Efron and Emily Ratajkowski.
His first TV appearance was in 2016 in a popular MTV show named “Ridiculousness”.
He released 3 singles in 2016; „Need You“ with NGHTMRE, „Anywhere“ with a singer Will Heard and „Candy“ in collaboration with Snappy Jit and GTA.
