Simon Sinek is a known American and British-born motivational author and a speaker, who gained popularity through his five different books, of which the most notable is his work titled “Start With Why”.

He is a creator of a program named “Golden Circle” which is very popular in the States and which brought him a huge income. It is presumed that his net worth is somewhere around $15 million.

Early years

He was born as Simon Oliver Sinek on October 9, 1973 in a part of London named Wimbledon, United Kingdom.

His first career jobs were in marketing agencies: he worked for “Euro RSCG” and “Ogilvy & Mather”. The last mentioned company was originally created in London.

He was always very ambitious which is not rare for a kif raised in a succesful family and who finished two different colleges.

The first book he published was named “Start With Why” and it was released in 2009. The whole name of the book is “Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action”. It became a bestseller at the New York Times. The book speaks about the importance of imspiration and how inspiration is always stronger than manipulation.

He also speaks about “Why – How – What” circle which became his most recognizable teaching.

The second book he published was named “Leaders Eat Lost”. This book was published in 2014.

Simon is a good motivational speaker and has given speeches at various UN summits and TED conferences. Simon is also working at Columbia University where he gives instructions for students in field of Strategic Communications.

In 2016, he released a book named “Together is Better: A Little Book of Inspiration”. This book is dedicated to his sister Sara who he adores and he surprised her with his dedication in the book.

The two of them are very connected and he says that he is inspired by Sara and her optimism and love for nature.

In 2009, Simon popularized the concept of Why when he was a speaker at a TED Talk the same year. It was his first TED Talk and his talk was viewed millions of times on TED.com. simon is actually very involved in the work of many organizations and leaders so he can bragg with consulting United Nations, US Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy.

Simon has developed a model named Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle.

In 2010, he became a member of the RAND organization which is a political organization created to make long-term scenarios, mostly for the military. It is often reffered to as “think tank”.
