Bart Kwan is a very popular Taiwanese-American YouTube personality known for his channel called “Just Kidding Films”.
He became popular because of his hillarious ways to speak about everyday events, social issues and politics, keeping a positive atitude. He is also a passionate powerlifter and owns his own gym.
Early years
He was born on November 18, 1985 in California in United States. He’s of Taiwanese and Cantonese descent and American, and he has lived with his parents until the age of six when his parents divorced due to great indifferences.
Bart continued living with his mother but he still has a good relationship with his father.

After he graduated from high school he joined United States Marine Corpse and even though he wanted to have a job in medicine he decided to pursue comedy and entertainment as his passion.
While he was in the Marines Corpse he realized the power of the human body so he decided to make even bigger changes in his life, mostly in exercise.
Before he created his channel “Just Kidding Films” he took acting and comedy classes to learn professional tricks and become better in comedy. He took the lessons out of fun but he learned very mu h there.
Career development
Bart Kwan created his channel with his friend named Joe Jo and they both took the above mentioned comedy classes together.
The two of them are very known for the chemistry which day have towards each other because they have similar backgrounds and experiences which made their comedy approach more refreshing and entertaining than of averidge comedians.
Bart also directs and writes the content for the channel. So he isn’t just an actor but he is a writer, producer, director and an entrepreneur.
YouTube gave their description of his Just Kidding Films Channel: “Teaching good things in a bad way”. And everyone agrees this is a very precise description of their channel and them.
After the popularity of his channel went to the roof, he started to open more channels such as “Just Kidding Party” and “Just Kidding News”.
He also created “Just Kidding Gamer” channel where he uploads videos of different games. He was a great fan of videogames since he was little.
Bart also created “Just Kidding Films” channel which became so popular that Bart was invited to many different film festivals, universities and various international events to talk about comedy.
Bart is known as kind of a fitness enthusiast and he has a fitness gym together with his wife. She is not only the owner: she is also a fitness fan and they both have great looks and everyday routine at the gym.
The two of them created their own fitness channel named “Barbell Brigade”. They opened a gym with the same name.
The users of the gym talk very highly of the gym because it isn’t classical: it has 10 times more “iron”, no showers and the trainers there are all professional powerlifters with a very friendly attitude.
Bart also invested some of his money in “Go For Broke” apparel where he is the co-owner. Bart and his wife Geowanna often wear it.
Kwan and Geovanni have there personal channel called “Bart and Geo” where they post videos about their personal life and journeys they took together. They have opened it when they got married.
Bart even tried himself as an actor in two short movies named “She has a boyfriend” and “Gun Fu”.
In his funny videos he uses stereotypical accents from all over the world and a lot of broken asian speech. He does this for fun although some people seem surprised he doesn’t speak a lot about his Asian legacy.
Personal life
He is also a great drummer and he loves to play drums and he has done so since he was in early grades of elementary school.
He doesn’t play them often at home since they have a baby now.
He also has three dogs and he’s a very big fan of dogs and they are named Meatloaf, Briggy and Fawn which are all very amusing names.
He didn’t have a lot of girlfriends through his young age and he was unwilling to commit to them but in 2010 he has met Geovanna Antoinette and he decided to marry her in 2015. He found a soulmate in her and soon they expanded their family.
In 2017 they have welcomed a new member of the family: a son named Taika Octavius.
His wife is part Asian and part Italian.
Many people don’t know that Bart was chubby and unhappy at the beginning of his career so he decided to do something about it.
He started training, lifting weights and watch what he eats. He ate a lot of steamed vegetables and lean meat gaining enough proteins.
Since then, he has lost a lot of weight, and he started powerlifting and competing in these sport.
