Adam Montoya is also known as SeaNanners. He is a known commentator on YouTube but he is strictly focused on commentating video games.
Early years
He was born as Adam Montoya on June 12, 1984 in San Diego in California, United States.
He grew up in San Diego, spending time with his sister. The two of them were very good to each other when they were kids and it stayed like that until today.
He graduated from San Diego State but after that he couldn’t find a job in his field of expertise which was media and TV so he became discouraged by this. It seemed to him like he has wasted his time in college.
After that he started freelancing and earn money through filming weddings and other special events and started spending a lot of time on YouTube.
He isn’t only a commentator for the games but he plays them with other commentators such as VanossGaming and Tom Cassell. He collaborated with almost all known YouTube gamers and made videos with them.
He plays a lot of games on his channel: Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, Gary’s Mod and others.

One of his most favorite collaborators is gassymexican who often appears in SeaNanners videos and gives voice impressions and he is famous for his impressions of Morgan Freeman.
Other of his collaborators are chilled chaos Uncle Sam Hutch and mr. Sark. From 2015 he also collaborates with Bryce Games.
He was inspired by other known YouTube commentators and he started recording his own game commentaries and after a while he uploaded them himself.
In 2009 he signed a contract with Machinima Incorporation and he uploaded a video in which he explains that he is Machinima’s partner now and that he will start posting gameplay videos for them on their channel.

One year later he became their full-time employee because they were very satisfied by the way he worked and how popular his gameplay became.
In 2014 he launched an MSN Jetpack, which is basically an independent network that didn’t pressure YouTubers to sign contracts with. The whole network was built and managed by former Machinima employees.
In the winter of 2016 he announced that he will get a role in a YouTube original series called “The Paranormal Action Squad” and he will do it alongside Scott Robinson and VanossGaming. The two of them are also very known internet celebrities.
This series is an animated comedy written by Futurama and this is YouTube Red original series which came 12th in a row.
He has collaborated with many known companies during his career and the biggest are Disney, Ubisoft, Nestle, Microsoft and CNN.
Personal life
Adam seems like a very nice guy and no scandals or controveries were never connected to him.

He doesn’t drink or smoke and he hasn’t any tattos on his body.
He often collaborates with his girlfriend Cathy Diep with whom he started going out in 2011.
Cathy is also a girl with a good reputation, kind and hardworking just as Adam.
The two of them have met while they were both working for Machinima Inc. She has worked for the company’s marketing section.
She has her own YouTube channel called Catabot and the two of them often appear in each others videos. Her second channel named simply after her, Cathy Diep, is devoted to crafts and DIY videos.
Cathy is also a co-founder of a company Craftly Incorporated, together with Adam and is an important person in operations of SeaNanners.
