Syahrini, or Rini Fatimah Jaleani, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer. The world knows her best for her studio albums “Semua Karena Cinta”,” Jangan Memilih Aku”, and “My Lovely” released in 2008 and 2009.
Before releasing her first album in 2008, Syahrini performed her single soundtrack (“Tatapan Cinta”) for one of the most famous Indian movies “Coklat Strober” (Chocolate and Strawberry).
Early Years
Syahrini was born on August 1st in 1982 in Sukabumi (Bogor), Indonesia, under the sign of Leo, and is 36 years old now.
Her father, Dadang Zaelani, owns a gold and mining shop business in Bogor. Her mother’s name is Wati Nurhayati.
Dadang and Wati have three children – Rini Fatimah Jealeani (Syahrini), Ridwan Zaelani (her older brother), and Aisyahrani Fatimah Zaelani (younger sister).
Syahrini completed high school and wanted to enroll at the Pakuan University (West Java, Indonesia).
Pakuan University is in Bogor, and Syahrini earned her bachelor degree in law on this university in 2007.
She actually had some plans to do a master’s degree in the Netherlands, but, as Syahrini used to sing during college, her hobby has pretended to become her major occupation.
Career Development
She was passionate about acting and singing since her early ages, which lead to achieving world fame and popularity.
She made her acting debut in the Indonesian movie Basahhh in 2008, in which she had a pivotal role.
Seems like 2008 was a truly fruitful year for Syahrini, as she released her debut album (“My Lovely”) the same year via Trinity Optima Production in collaboration with Dewiq and Yovie Widiant, who wrote the songs for this album.
Most famous tracks from this album are “Lies” (Bohong) and “My Lovely”.
This is when Syahrini grabbed the attention of music lovers, and her career started blooming.

Personal Life
Syahrini was in a relationship with Raja Mohammad Syazni, but they ended it in 2012. Afterward, there were rumors about her new date – Jeffrey Sutorius of Dash Berlin, but this relationship was never confirmed.
She was allegedly associated with Tubagus Chaeri Wardana, better known as Wawan, who was the main suspect in a corruption case of the procurement of medical equipment. Wawan is also the brother of Ratu Atut Chosiyah, Banten Province’s Governor.
Jennifer Dunn, Aura Kasih, and Catherine Wilson are believed to be involved in the case as well.
According to rumors, Wawan was involved in romantic and sexual relationships with all these women and spent the corrupted money on luxurious gifts and travels.
However, Syahrini denied the rumor as well as the previous one.
This year, on February 27th, Syahrini said yers to Reino Barack, at the Tokyo Camii mosque in Japan. Reino is the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Global Mediacom.
Many rumors followed this act of theirs as well. In fact, people were talking about Reino and his ex-girlfriend, an Indonesian actress Luna Maya.
However, the first time Syahrini and Reino appeared together for the first time after getting married in public on March 12th, when Syahrini took the opportunity to say she didn’t steal anyone’s man, as Reino was single at the moment when they met.
In the end, she added their marriage is a true blessing from God and that their love is real.
